BIOGRAPHY
The American tenor Tom Allen made his Carnegie Hall debut in 1993. After winning first prize at the Salzburg Mozart competition he was invited to the Salzburg Mozartwoche. He gave his German stage debut as Don Ottavio in Darmstadt.
Tom Allen was soloist with the New York Philharmonic, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Leipzig Gewandhausorchester under the baton of Kurt Masur, Michael Gielen and Gary Bertini. Apart from the works of the Baroque repertoire his work focuses on contemporary music as well.
