These include Wotan/Wanderer from Der Ring des Nibelungen, Marke from Tristan und Isolde and Gurnemanz from Parsifal, which he has sung at the Bayreuth Festival among other places. He makes regular appearances at the opera houses of Geneva, Lisbon, Florence, Paris, Vienna, Berlin and New York, in roles such as Baron Ochs in Der Rosenkavalier, Moses in Moses und Aron, Golaud in Pelléas et Mélisande and Rocco in Fidelio. The roles he has performed at the Bavarian State Opera include Mephistopheles in Faust and Wotan/Wanderer in Der Ring des Nibelungen. |
